DELIVERY POLICY
Contractual document forming an integral part of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
1. Nature of the lead time
Each Fantino garment is crafted individually, according to the client's measurements and customization choices. The stated lead time covers the making (workshop time) and shipping, not a simple delivery from ready-to-wear stock. This principle governs all the provisions of this policy.
2. Standard making time
The standard making time is three (3) to four (4) weeks from validation of the order and receipt of the deposit. This time frame is indicative: it may vary depending on the availability of the chosen fabric, the workshop's workload, the time of year and the number of fittings required.
KEY POINTS
Standard making time: 3 to 4 weeks.
For rare, heritage or out-of-stock fabrics: an additional delay may apply, always communicated and accepted by the client before the order is validated.
Urgent orders may benefit from an accelerated lead time for an additional fee, subject to acceptance by the workshop.
3. Delivery zones
- Grand Duchy of Luxembourg: free delivery, by courier or handed over in person at the showroom.
- European Union: insured delivery, fees calculated according to the destination and communicated before validation.
- United Kingdom, Switzerland and the rest of the world: delivery on quotation; import duties and taxes are the sole responsibility of the recipient, in accordance with local regulations.
4. Shipping method and packaging
Items are shipped by a specialized carrier, protected in the Fantino garment cover and packaged so as to preserve the integrity of the garment. A tracking number is sent to the client by email as soon as the order is dispatched.
5. In-person handover and final fitting
For clients residing in the Grand Duchy or nearby, and for any first order, Fantino recommends a final fitting at the showroom rather than direct delivery. This allows any comfort alterations to be carried out immediately and guarantees a perfect fit.
6. Delays
In the event of a delay attributable to the workshop or its supply chain, the House undertakes to inform the client as soon as it becomes aware of it and to propose an appropriate solution: a new time slot, commercial compensation, or fabric substitution where relevant.
Delays caused by an event of force majeure (Article 14 of the GTC) or by a lack of information from the client (incorrect measurements, unexcused absence from a fitting, incorrect address) shall not give rise to any liability on the part of Fantino.
7. Receipt of the parcel
On delivery, the client is invited to check the packaging and the contents. Any reservation concerning visible damage must be:
- Recorded with the carrier at the time of receipt.
- Reported to Fantino within forty-eight (48) hours, in writing to contact@fantinolux.com, with supporting photographs.
After this period, the garment is deemed to have been received in apparent good condition, without prejudice to statutory warranties and the alteration policy.
8. Pattern retention
After delivery, the making pattern is archived by the workshop for a period of ten (10) years. The client can thus order a new piece or request a later alteration without redoing all the measurements, provided their body shape has not significantly changed.
